The summer is over...time to go back to school! The girls seem to have great teachers and a lot of friends in their classes this year. They were excited, and nervous for another year.

First day of 2nd grade!
It's always a bittersweet moment putting them on the bus for the first time of the year. It was nice to have some time with just my boys, though. We went out to lunch together and then got Drew ready for school which starts this coming monday. We got his books and supplies...$600 later, he's ready. Ugh!

Adorable pics of the girls. They did seem both excited and a little nervous when I talked with them the night before school. It's great they have each other, too. I'm glad you got a little time with your boys.
And oh, Michelle, bittersweet it is. It's so great to think of the adventures they will have and the friends they will make, but watching them step away from you and home, well, they take a little bit of your heart every time.
(It even happened today when I took a picture of Josh on HIS first day of school. Geez, I AM a sap, aren't I?)
