So, there's this spectacular waterfall near us that we had never seen. Drew has been fly fishing there a couple times, but the kids and I hadn't done it. We decided to go hiking this weekend, all by ourselves, and thought we'd give this trail a try...
Cascades Trail...2 miles of fun ahead!!
David was happy and ready to go...riding in style!

We made it!!! Cascade Waterfall!! Isn't it gorgeous?
David fell asleep about 1 mile in...and stayed that way for a long time!

There is a great swimming hole...but it's cold water!!!
Kimmi walked all the way to the waterfall...she wanted to stand right by it, but I was a paranoid mom...maybe next time when Drew is with us.

Back at the parking lot...we made it!!...and seriously..without any complaints!
Happy to be out of the baby backpack.We had so much fun...we're gonna do it again soon!

WOW! What a woman! That was so brave of you - it looks like so much fun! Your kids are so cute and that waterfall! WOW!
You've always had my respect, but now even more so...that'a a heckuva hike with that little chunk in the backpack! The waterfall is beautiful, and so are your kids.
