the end result...which caused Kimmi to say, "That wasn't as fun as I thought it was gonna be." I guess you never know how each kid is going to react to the cake eating...
We spent the night in DC to see Grandpa Rawlinson after his convention there! Even though it was a quick visit, it was well worth the trip!

That was definitely the longest I've ever seen a one year old go without getting messy while eating their birthday cake. Kimmi was SOOO ready for him to just dive in. I am so glad you were at our house for the celebration. I loved it.
Can't wait for us all to be together with EVERYONE in a couple of weeks!
(Toby wants to cook a chocolate cake with me while he's here....so we might just have to let David have another go at it!)
